Willi.V pays tribute on the 30 year anniversary of Milli Vanilli’s legendary and controversial smash hit song “Girl You Know It’s True” by covering the song that was originally produced by Numarx and then again by the German super producer Frank Farian aka the Hitman.

Willi.V is a member of the Multi-Platinum German group “Sons Of Mannheim” he is the groups main rapper.

His new solo single “Girl You Know It’s true” is a remake of the legendary hit by the 90’s controversial pop ensemble Milli Vanilli. The song has been scooped by play & cue music for international release, distribution and licensing.

Willi.V a German/Zimbabwean artist started his career during high school as a radio Dj and television personality having hosted his own radio and television shows “Young Zimbabwe” and the prime time South African music talent search competition “Shell Road To Fame”. Willi.V aka Metaphysics also went onto form and establish award-winning music projects.


The most notable of his music projects are Lethal Language which was the first Zimbabwean Rap group to be signed to Disney’s now-defunct music label Hollywood-basic, A Peace Of Ebony which holds the record for the song that has stayed the longest on the Zimbabwean no1 chart position even gaining the attention of Island Records Chris Blackwell.

After working briefly in the USA for the MTV networks Willi.V moved to his fathers home country of Germany where he became active in some of Germanys notable and successful Rap groups including Clueso, Brothers Keepers, Migrant Souls and the Multiplatinum Sons Of Mannheim filling arenas across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Willi.V has produced tracks for German icon Xavier Naidoo and also for his younger brother who he managed to help land a Billboard top 10 Hit as a feature on Cascada’s “Evacuate The Dance Floor”

In 2018 Willi.V pays homage to Frank Farian and the group Numarx by breathing new life into the mega chart topping world wide sensational hit song “Girl You Know It’s True” a song that earned producer Frank Farian Diamond status. Willi.V’s version on this historic song has new Lyrics and references the current pulse of what is popping in the dance and club scene.
