Playoff Slim is one of the newest artists on the Philadelphia Hip-Hop scene. Originating from Southwest Philadelphia, Mook Nyce has been working at bettering his craft for over 10 years. Though previously sidetracked due to a period of incarceration, Slim was recently discovered by the independent label "STR8 DROP ENTERTAINMENT". Since then, he has opened up for well known artists such as Gillie Da Kid (Major Figgas), Meek Mill (Maybach Music Group), Cassidy (Full Surface/J Records), Freeway (Roca-Fella), Beanie Sigel (Roca-Fella), Peedi Crakk(State Property) and Styles P (Lox/D-Block). SDE has taken Playoff Slim and molded him into a complete artist helping him find his own sound and push him to his maximum potential.
