Ascend is the next chapter of the journey!

This one started in 2020 as a casual song with an interesting rhythm. Before the New Year's Eve, I returned to it. It was a pass between years, an ode to a hopeful new year.

In 2022, I had my first flight, that's when I took the picture. Back home, it reminded me of a song I made called "Ascend". There is a beautiful symmetry between this experience, and this song which now captures it perfectly.

We can take a step back and observe the world around us. There is plenty to be thankful for...

"Vanishing Star" is a dreamy and powerful synth track re-imaging the ending life cycle of a star. This process takes a long time and a human lifespan is not enough to observe it in its full glory. The death of each star comes in different ways and ends either in nothingness (black hole) or opens possibilities to give birth to new celestial objects.
