On his new single ‘In My Heart’, Luke Dreamhood sings about dealing with the loss of a spouse, friend, relative or perhaps a pet. Music is something that unites us all, comforting the heart and mind in the event of a traumatic event. Since music is a key ingredient in ensuring that we can surpass anything. Luke Dreamhood created this song because he hopes it can bring comfort to its listeners.
The steady going groove, with the typical Luke Dreamhood stereo panned hi-hats, an intriguing bass-line and firm kick. Simple piano chords with a perky chord progression, larded with snare and rhythmic hi-hat patterns, are the basic instrumental ingredients to ‘In My Heart’. 
The lyrics are introduced in a low voice that evokes the phrase ‘I keep you in my heart,’ which sounds like it comes from the depths of the soul. This artificial sounding voice could come from an unknown realm. Representing the mystery of our existence. Spoken word verses are accompanied by singing background voices that express painful feelings. In the chorus Luke Dreamhood seeks to bring comfort in times of distress. The weeping 'In My Heart' bridge represents the doubt of being able to survive if you lose someone.
It is inevitable that we will feel the pain of losing someone or something. It can be a difficult feeling, and our emotions can overwhelm anything we have ever felt before. Luke believes that we can cope with adversity by keeping the memory of someone we have lost in our heart.

Game of Thrones was the inspiration for this track. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels. This HBO series is set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos. Game of Thrones has several plots and a large ensemble cast and follows several story arcs. One arc is about the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms and follows a web of alliances and conflicts among the noble dynasties either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from it. Another focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty, who has been exiled and is plotting a return to the throne, while another story arc follows the Night's Watch, a brotherhood defending the realm against the fierce peoples and legendary creatures of the North. You can find it all in these stories back in this majestic sounding track.

On the ‘Swingtime’ single, Luke Dreamhood goes on a trip to memory lane. Luke describes the ambivalent feelings about his first dance lesson experience. At the same time it’s a tribute to the joy of dancing. ‘Swingtime’ is the first Dreamhood track that contains a lyric. The song has an authentic feel because Luke Dreamhood has a notable own and warm voice. Luke wants to use open sounding mixing skills and, on this track, deliberately didn’t want to deploy extreme effects on his vocals. 

‘Swingtime’ sounds happy and positive and tells the story about a boy coming of age, feeling insecure about his skill set. Overcoming his fears, by trying and practising, the boy realize that he is able to learn to dance and to interact with girls. He becomes a man and hopefully a, happily dancing, free spirit. ‘Swingtime’ has a nostalgic load to Dreamhood, because he used to be a dance teacher in his early years. Luke believes and proves that, if you put your mind to it and work with passion, everyone can learn new skills at any age.

On his second single Chi Chi Boy, Luke Dreamhood sings about people living in poverty. 
While he was on a half year trip to India, doing research for a project, he met different kind of people. He learned that even the poorest human beings in deplorable circumstances, can be very happy and satisfied about their lives. It opened his eyes on materialism, contrasting lifestyles and cultural differences. 
Luke Dreamhood tries to treat everyone with respect and was shocked to see how some citizens not only disrespected people living on the streets, but even abused them and took advantage of their vulnerable situation. Luke uses the nickname Chi Chi Boy as a tribute. This can be considered provoking or controversial. In some societies the expression Chi Chi Boy (or Batty Boy) is chiefly used as offensive slang for street-boys, because street-kids are frequently sexually abused. 
On his new track ‘Chi Chi Boy’ Luke Dreamhood looks at the tough life some people have, but are able to survive in their difficult surroundings. A lot of the street-kids run away from home because of hard environments, most of the time they were abused or mistreated and even at their own home couldn’t find a safe place to live.
In conversations with some street children, who Luke met while working for a social project, Dreamhood was affected by the heart-warming and open attitudes. Luke is especially impressed about the touching desires and dreams some people hold on to. The streets, other kids and even some stray-dogs have become their home and family. Luke Dreamhood dedicates this song to them and hopes they will be able to live a happy life.

We produce Electronic Dance Music with a wink. Our music contains back to basic drumbeats and some percussion as the driving force. Like a legendary artist (Who, according to some dance tracks, is dead or still alive!) we consider all instruments as drums. Inspired by the 80’s and 90’s dance music we want to bring dreamy and ethereal electronic dance music.  We create our tracks by layering digital soundscapes of arpeggiators orchestral leads and sequences.  Harmonically and full of sounds with high energy. For dancing and/or relaxation.  Like an incredibly all-encompassing journey telling stories without lyrics and keep space for our listeners to dream away.
