Surrounded by music since his early years starting with the long, arduous years with classic guitar and drums. After moving to the seaside went into underground electronic scene and started to find his own style. Few years of crafting evolved into his own vision which he sticks until today. Most recognizable of combining percussive, up-tempo sound with a rolling bass and spatial pads which gives us groovy mix, full of surprising breaks. Inspired by style from UK players like: Rene Wise, A.Morgan, XONO or Flaws and also Portuguese vision from Vil, Re:Axis and Temudo. On the scene since 2019 when he played his first DJ set for wide audience on Gdańsk shipyard in former club Protokultura on one of local collective “Techenko” party. One of the member of PPL showcase crew which organizes events in legal and “less legal” manner around Tricity area.

Italy based as a music producer, DJ, Beatmaker.. iBOT is the alias of Ivo (I.M.) and is part of a new generation of artists whose work relies on the contemporary approach to Hypnotic, minimal Modular and Raw Techno Sounds.

Combining the sound of the genre with a mystical methodology, iBOT has released in defining labels like TMM, Affekt Recordings, Soma, Rebels Records, Concepto Hipnotico, [R]3volution, CorpusBlack, Coded Platform, Dolma, FreshCut Techno Label, Kabelkiste, Primitive State, ITU, Eclectic Limited, Subsist Records, Diffuse Reality and more. His label mind is behind Research From Space records[est021’] and runs his own Studio productions in Italy.

Having spent his formative years experiencing the Electronic Music scene from many angles, first steps in Italy (his Hometown Turin), iBOT has played in many clubs, raves and afterparties of Turin and North Italy, traveling Europe through Ibiza, Berlin, London rave scene as clubber, DJ, producer and collaborator, his name is iBOT (Ivano Marsalisi).

Class of 85’, his music receives the support of Techno and House industries’ icons. He has now evolved into a unique producer of his own right, and already has several high quality Techno Electronic tracks lined up on some of the best labels worldwide. Talented and the most promising artist on the Techno Underground music global scene.

Marcos F, Spanish DJ and producer based in madrid. His sets are filled with influenced break beats, dark atmosphere, lots of groove and energy through it with which he shows his vision of Techno.

Today, as part of the PLAY Podcast series, we will introduce you to a great person and DJ. F141 is a member of the Polish collective https://soundcloud.com/tech-room29, who will perform on May 10th at PLAY x TECHROOM in the Radost club in Bratislava. We are excited to welcome Filip for his premiere in Slovakia along with the entire TR29 crew.

F141 - DJ, beginner producer, member of the broadly developing Tech-room 29 collective. An energetic dancer starting his DJ adventure with a bit faster British hard techno. With the increase in experience, he stylistically moved back a bit further, to the times of the beginnings of his interest in technical music, where he was inspired by the schematic, minimal and hypnotic sound at the Das Lokal club. The combination of these factors has led to a high level of interest in the recently rising new Portuguese wave. Currently in his sets he is trying to combine a delicate hypnotic sound with an aggressive industrial hit.

Trokas was born in 1983 under the gray skies of Ferrol with his turn to live the golden age of electronics in Galicia. Around the year 2000 a deep interest in Techno began to emerge in him… his passion for Hardgroove made him break the barrier between the dance floor and the booth. After this trigger, he managed to get behind some turntables and feel a great desire to be able to get his first mixes. For personal reasons, he moved away from music and prioritized his work activity, but little by little new rhythms were bubbling and in 2014 he got his first residence in his city. With the passing of time, in 2016, he returned to his origins… prioritizing the vinyl format and backed by the Techno sound that defines him. Trokas is the darkness within his music, nourishing himself with atmospheric and mental textures

In a short time, the brand became regionally known, then it became nationwide and began to appear in clubs across Slovakia. PLAY. is primarily an event that aims to create a unique electronic experience for the visitor. Our collective of DJs, who can be found on www.playslovakia.sk , focuses mainly on deep techno, driving, raw and electro sound. We also produce a series of podcasts and video sets, whose creators are musically close to us.
