It's been a long time huh? 
Don't worry guys, I've been making music during my free time but it's rare I have a track that I'm 100% satisfied with in terms of sound quality and composition.

This remix has technically been in the project bin for about three years now. But it wasn't until I was going through a nostalgic Skrillex phase a few months ago that I had a vision of the song play in my head while driving. I was super into it and knew I had to create what I felt. And once I started, I couldn't finish..... And literally. 
I was about halfway through and I just got stuck. So out of curiosity, I threw in a drum line I had made for fun years ago, and behold, the second half of the track was born.
It's not just the sounds that I'm happy with but also the mastering. Each sound has it's own processing that I took my time with. I tried new techniques (frequency range tips from Youtube/a new VST and plug-in) and some old ones (old rack effects) that I totally forgot about. 
 I think the world is ready for throwback wave to Skrillex again; and that's what really pushed me to get the track out to you all.

I have been the biggest fan of T-Mass since Beauty In Thirds so remixing this was the biggest honor in the world!! I tried hard for myself,the audience and T-Mass to hear emotion in this song in some way. This is the song I am most proud of and the most I have been 'in the zone' for.

Hear Distortion? Good. It sounds right in my mind.... because I ADDED IT. Also, this song is me and how I do music. Kraftwerk and Apheleon/Jungle music I grew up with just poured itself on here.

T-Mass - The One Ft. Mona Moua (PlayStopRepeat Remix)

This is a track I've been wanting to complete for two or three years now but has always been stowed away on my laptop. I've finally completed it and consider it my first track showing my step up in music production since using both Ableton and Serum. I also consider it the first track under my name U.R

This track has major influences in it without me realizing it and it was so much fun to make. The second half was me really having fun with Serum. 

I would say the start is def Excision type bass and that's actually what started the whole track. The lead I would call Flux Paviilion and is very inspired by 'Vibrate'. I would also think there are some Barely Alive influences in there as well. Oh and the cafe ambiance sound at the beginning and end are 100% an idea from Flux's Bass Cannon.

Oh and this track was alot of fun to master as well. I tried very hard to balance the bass, kick and snare.

This track started as just a template for exploring the limits of Ableton. Overtime it evolved into this. I do not know what was going through my mind when I was making it, but I had to finish it.
