We made it - we survived the super magical mystery tunnel - we arrived in Glasgow just in time for our gig at The Stand in the glittering west end and narrowly avoided sailing wildly into the abyss.

Normally the Pleasance Ahoy crew focus on taking comedy to places where you wouldn't normally find it, but in Glasgow it's more a case of taking the boat somewhere it wouldn't normally go. 

In this podcast you'll hear stand up from our headliner Janey Godley, the wonderful Andre Vincent returns to the fair ship, Michael Redmond gets over excited - as does Phil Differ, plus the wonderful and lovely Jessica Fostekew gets insulted by cabin boy Al. Standard really.

The Pleasance brings a comic twist to the London 2012 Festival with a series of pop-up comedy gigs presented from a narrowboat along the British waterways!  A nationwide comedy relay, with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as its destination.

Tall Tales from the Riverbanks is a one-off series of free live comedy gigs staged on the banks of Britain’s canals and rivers.

This comedy relay will journey from London to Edinburgh via Oxford, Stone, Manchester and Glasgow, providing a showcase for Britain’s comedy talent as they explore the weird and wonderful quirks of the waterways.

The finale is a one off event at the world’s largest arts festival.
