Merther is a four-piece jam band from Blue Hill, ME that mixes elements of roots reggae, spacey dub, psychedelic rock, and raw funk into their own experimental genre they have dubbed "Psychedelic Dub Funk". 

From super dubbed-out originals/covers, to experimental psychedelic jammin', and back again to bouncy reggae with a progressively funky twist; Merther performs with high energy and creates a flow of communicative energy between them and dancers, head-nodders, hoola-hoopers, poi-masters, grass-loungers, grass-smokers and anyone else who makes the choice to get down and feed the dub funk.

It all started when a group of super good friends came back from a huge festival in ME with inspiration flowing through all of their veins due to the incredible experiences they had together throughout the festival weekend. These fired up souls drove back home to Blue Hill and decided they wanted to make some music. 
They jammed for hours that particular night, and things took off from there.

Merther is formerly known as "Pleasant Street". We had to change the name due to confusion with other bands under the same name.
