Disclaimer: As some people have asked us already if this is the remix we did of BSOD's track "This is the Hook" - the answer is yes + no. YES this track was originally created to be the remix for "This is the Hook" - however due to complications with the label we pulled our remix and pulled the few parts from the BSOD track and re-worked it to make it an original track.And hence "Anubis" was born.We hope you enjoy this dark and groovy ride to the underworld.....;)

Pleasurekraft - Anubis

This EP could easily be titled &#8220;The Many Flavors Of Taste Peter&#8221; as he effortlessly rolls out a variety of styles in this four-tracker. 
 The journey begins with the aptly titled &#8220;Devil Chords&#8221; where we are quickly introduced to thick, mutating chords which are clearly taking the center stage here. An extra set is further applied, seamlessly leading the way to a breakdown fortified by an intense breakdown. 
 On the title track, Taster Peter nods firmly to Detroit with classic, subtle stabs and a nostalgic arpeggio just grazing the surface over the shuffling hats. This one is clearly a number where the melodic elements do the talking. In dubspeeka&#8217;s rendition we a get a meatier version, with emphatic drums taking control while still maintaining the spacey vibe. 
 Closing up, &#8220;Nocturne&#8221; is a subliminal ride in the night (obviously), with sonars going off at all angles, and eerie effects teaming up with tense atmospherics to keep us on our toes. The low end rumble and intricate drum programming make sure that everyone is moving to the dark beat.

Taster Peter teams up with Marko Nastic for some boundary-pushing in the form of &#8220;Revolver&#8221;. Don&#8217;t let the grinding rhythm section and the rumbling subs fool you, though…the center of attention are the tribal overtones from a warped future which clearly steal the show. Label boss Stefano Noferini takes on the remix, dubs things out significantly, and then lays everything down on a locomotive groove complete with crackling snares. 

The boys close up with &#8220;Floater&#8221;, which boasts the sleaziest of basslines and happy-go-lucky chord stabs, while busy claps and old-school snare edits ensure that every twist and turn is drenched in suspense.
