This is our LIVE SET from Sunday October 1st 2023 on Watanders / 3fm / Omroep Zwart. It's actually our thirs time exploring to perform together in this way and still quite fresh. We draw from production we did together but also music LYMA has produced with Kraak & Smaak, Goshawk and LIKEMINDS. I'd say more than half these tunes are unreleased, slated for the first half of 2024.

Our set up right now is Marcel playing the instrumentals and LYMA singing. This certainly can expand moving forward.

The Toy Tonics army makes its debut this week on SOULMEEX PRO with his "Italianissimo" Sam Ruffillo.

The man behind the highly acclaimed Danza Organica, recently explained on an Instagram post his long path to success: twenty years making beats and arranging music with different aliases, around eight or nine different artistic projects, remix contests won and hard work plus consistency as the key of everything.

His music is very special indeed and we’re still trying to make up our mind if it is Italian disco, funky house, balearic…Or maybe all together at the same time.

What we know for sure is that we’re in front of a present and future star of electronic music.

That’s the reason why he’s caught the attention of many big names in the business, his gigs are increasing week by week and he’s been remixed already by the likes of Musumeci, Art of Tones or Eli Escobar. That, with just a few EPs released in Toy Tonics, Jakarta or Irma Records among others.

While we carefully observe his next steps in the wonderful world of electronic music, it’s time to have a ball with his SOULMEEX PRO 003.

LTJ IN BOLOGNA # 4 a new journey into timeless deep soul

Longtime friends and musical collaborators Max Essa and Eddie C just joined the RNT fold, with their new 4-tracker of melancholic and exquisitely produced chilled out disco.

Begun as a lockdown project, the 'We Live In The Hills' EP explores a vast palette of sonic soundscapes, from the shimmering guitars and acid lines of Melon Stepping, to the insistent rolling bass and whimsical synths of Save Me, the deep funk of the EP’s title track, and the late nite driving soundtrack stylings of Sixth Bridge. This EP tells a hopeful story of emerging from isolation and doubt, like a lovely musical sunrise after a long dark night.

To celebrate the release, Max Essa hopped on his decks in Tokyo to make his RNT Podcast debut! He shifts through many of the tones that inspired 'We Live In The Hills', as well as material from the EP itself, while harnessing records from friends & family around the globe for 90 minutes of bliss.
