2013 saw Silicone Soul celebrating the 10th Anniversary of their Darkroom Dubs imprint. Launched in Glasgow back in 2003, the DRD stamp has become a mark of quality and seen many established names exploring deeper realms whilst also unearthing fresh and exciting global talent. 

From Fabric to Watergate, The Standard Rooftop to Club Bahrein Buenos Aires, the Scottish duo have celebrated their disco-decade with a string of '10 Year' parties spread across the last 12 months, building on Darkroom Dubs already strong global reach. 

To round off their birthday in style Craig and Graeme have asked some of the label's main acts and strongest supporters to contribute a track for a new compilation. Artists including jozif, Ryan Crosson, Uner, Gary Beck, Of Norway, and Simon Garcia all feature in the collection that Silicone Soul present as a snapshot of the future sound and musical vision of Darkroom Dubs. 

Due for release Feb 24th 2014 on double 12" vinyl and download.

After a slightly longer break, Niconé & Sascha Braemer are finally back on Stil vor Talent. Their ‚Stay feat. Limon’ EP instantly showcases that the wait has been worth it though. On the title track, the trio creates a fusion of romantic synth leads, sensuous vocals and areal strings. ‘Tell Me’, also featuring Limon, is no less epic, but aims straight for the peak time with the help of driving chords and a healthy dose of bass. Next to the two hot originals, the Spaniard Henry Saiz delivers a remix reminiscent of The Human League. A creaking bass-line, crystalline synths and a distant vox catapult you straight to the 80s. The things that dreams are made of!

The new EP by the Dutch producer Budakid. Release date is set for the 22nd of July on the Berlin based imprint Einmusika.

Simple melodic and full of sounscapes, that is the first track of 
Andrea Arcangeli’s upcoming EP on Ein2. “Momento“ is like a view behind dark clouds, you see a lightened moment, a warm shiver going through your body. A rumbling bone-shaker tune is “Fiducia“ - with nice wooden claps and a smart unexpected hook. “Follia“ at least bringing is more metallic and clean at the beginning. A dancefloor track with a permanent cold attitude mixed up by warm and melodic moments.
