This one-hour vinyl-only mix was recorded at Perron Rotterdam during closing duties, which in our opinion perfectly captures his unique style.

Dunchyk seamlessly melds a raw sonic approach with dark atmospherics, immersive textures, distinctive timbres, intricate polyrhythms, and incisive percussions. The result is a harmonious blend of energy and depth, guided by nineties loops that resonate from the future.

Alexey Dunchyk - New Ace [MindTrip]

Asymmetric head Inigo Kennedy returns to his label with a tantalising five track EP 'Number Crunching'.

Title track 'Number Crunching' slaps you around the face with its machine-gun percussion and heavy kick whilst a gritty sonic landscape swirls around. 'Into The Red Valley' is quite the provocative number, constantly evolving, constantly shifting layers of sound over a steady four-to-the-floor. Third track, 'Komorebi', floats into place with a dream-like melody intertwined with pads and held together by an instantly recognisable Asymmetric style percussive drum section; sunlight leaking through trees. Next up is the retro-feeling of 'Countersink' before the release closes with 'Mysterious Clouds', a sublime almost 10 minute sonic journey grounded by heartbeat-like kicks; an absolute beauty of a track.

Raw Material is a podcast collective from Rotterdam created in 2024 by Reflect. They present experienced and talented dj’s who are into raw grooving, oldschool based techno and electro. Before Reflect took it over the podcast was called ‘Scherpe Randjes’ which was found in 2016. Since then over 230 DJ- and hardware sets where posted.  Some of the artists who did a set are big names in techno nowadays, others are very promising and deserve to keep an eye on. This Saturday they take over the decks for 3 hours of pure vinyl techno.
