This song is about functioning as parents while the relationship itself has quietly faded.
About staying, not out of love, but out of responsibility.
Two people sharing a home, routines, and a child — but no longer a marriage.
There is also a German version of this song (ich funktioniere), which captures the same story in my native language.

Functioning for the Kids (Ich funktioniere) (International Remix)

A remix/cover I did of an old Cortex song. The original has been one of my favorite songs since I was a kid. Doesn't sound like a classic Plej song but has a nice edge to it. Its on our new album called "Home is where your heart was"

A Daydream Person은 '예술의 전당'에서 최초로 디제잉으로 무대를 선 아티스트이다. 그런 그는 어린시절 Justice, Allure, Daft Punk의 음악을 듣기 전까지는 남들과 다를바 없는 가정에서 자란 평범한 아이였다. mp3 속의 음악을 통해 만들어진 그의 음악관은 누디스코를 기반으로 하나, 이탈로 디스코(italo disco) 신스웨이브(synthwave) 같은 레트로한 느낌이 섞여있기도 하다. 그의 음악은 특유의 낙천적인 개성과 우울한 감성이 서로 겹치고 갈등하는 그의 내적인 갈등을 조화롭게 반영했다는 것이 특징이다. 

현재 Diskonnect의 멤버로 활동중이며 작년 그의 첫 싱글 "Thirst" 를 발매하며 특유의 우울한 감성으로 주목받기 시작했으며 또한 Britney Spears의 Make me 리믹스는 Hypeddit chart top 100에서 11위에 오르면서 해외 리스너 및 아티스트들에게 적지 않은 관심을 이끌어내기 시작했다.

이번 Circle Rotary 를 통해 발표되는 그의 믹스셋 "VISITOR"는 우울함과 행복감이 공존하는 그의 내적인 모습을 들여다 볼 수 있는 셋으로 그가 평소에 아끼는 누디스코 트랙들로 한시간을 풀어보았다.

Electronic band from Gothenburg, Sweden. 

The two members are brothers Arvid Niklasson and Erik Niklasson. They released their first album Electronic Music From The Swedish Leftcoast in 2003 which was nominated for a swedish grammy in 2004.

They released their second album, Home Is Where Your Heart Was, on July 28, 2008.
