this is the third almost interlude-like song on here... it was, like Charon and the title track, always going to be so. i feel like are you going away now again into this song sort of signals a new section of the record. this one is pretty self-explanatory i feel like. it started with the vocals and i just had fun with it ;) interpolated with music and sounds from, Bette Gordon's "Variety" from 1983. It's a John Lurie score, very good. also sample from a rave at the end. i tried for a while to put more of a verse or chorus in here but nothing was working... that's kind of something u may find on many of these songs. there were a few different drum parts but this one hit the most i feel like.

this is a song from the fall as well. I can't play guitar but I do it on this song. i think i was listening to a lot of townes van zandt, specifically "our mother the mountain", specifically "kathleen". this song is just about someone thats gone missing, lol, and the way that we assume the worst sometimes. it's like a tentative question, something u dont wanna know the answer to. it also is about the relationship u may have to their being missing, the part u play or didn't play. i had the guitar part and i think the titular line and melody came the same night and that was it. for some reason i think this is my best song
