Really enjoying all the sets from this party in both rooms so let's put another one out there.

This was the headline set in the main room and it didn't disappoint. Dirty, sludgy Den Haag acid! At the time, a very rare Beverly Hills 808303 set during a period where I-F was playing quite a bit in London for a number of different crews. 

The I-F disco set played earlier is also really decent so hopefully that'll come out at a later time but for now this should please the acid heads.

Way back in December ’21 we recorded a part 1 of the IS show, foreseeing the inevitable that there would be a part 2 sometime in the near future… Last month we finally got round to recording a part 2…

Wow!!! What can I say about my brother Chris... Heck I don't know where 2 start. We met each other in the early 90'z through a ad he put out on DJ Mag (?). We were both looking 4 tha same thing basically... he wanted mixtapez from Chicago & I wanted 2 know what wuz going on in tha UK. My goal wuz 2 have thee greatest radio show in tha world. So we had 2 connect like thiz. No internet, quick phone callz (cuz they were crazy expensive 2 make!!) faxes, & lot'z of mailing packages.
Chris is a very talented young man.Pre Punker, Drummer, Remixer, Producer, Photographer & an amazing DJ. So much so that he became a resident for KCP/4x4 Nation on our then 91.5 FM WPRK Radio Show I did with DJ Cano.
Trust, I have every show Chris did & they were ALL SLAMMIN'!!!
There iz 1 show I'm trying 2 find... You know what it is Chris, but SHHHHHHH!!!LOL

„Snuffo in Santanyí“ is a radio show on @Threadsradio . It is hosted by German Electronic Music producer, live act and label owner: Snuffo. 

The format is recorded in his studio in the village of Santanyí on the island of Mallorca, Spain. 

With Episode #73,  Snuffo celebrates four years of this show. For this special occasion, he invited the great Benjamin Weiss a.k.a Nerk. 

This Berlin-based producer, DJ, live act,  music and technology journalist and geek is known as a member of the legendary Techno project TokTok. Recently they released a great new album called „Tweng“. (Out on @toktok-records )

He also did many fantastic collaborations, for example with Can Oral, Dirk Leyers or Peter Kirn.  For „Snuffo in Santanyí“, Nerk recorded an amazing wonky DJ set. F

Snuffo in Santanyí #73 with a Guest Mix by Nerk

Camille Altay is an artist across multiple mediums. Though identified primarily as a painter, they came up as a DJ in the rave scene in Chicago in the late 90s. An original member of Birds of Prey (Kathexis Records, Mysteries of the Deep) and current collaborator with LA artist Israel Vines with a forthcoming release on Tresor, Camille’s also been building a house—quite literally. I have believed for many years there’s nothing Camille can’t do with exceptional grace and skill. And how does one aspire to set the tone for their day? “My approach to sound and music is interwoven with the practice of art, and it becomes about trying my best, in small ways each day, to be mindful of what I listen to, in order that I might create a condition for this calling-in of inspiration.” Enjoy the two-hour ride.

03.05.16 Black Lodge 1 Year Anniversary Gathering ft. Claude Young and Nomadico. Although there were some technical difficulties with the USB sticks and he could not play his own music, Claude, like a true master, stepped up and went on to play a very special and rare all vinyl set using records from Nomadico, Force Placement and Kosmik, for over 2 hours!! We are honored and blessed to have hosted one our greatest heroes and favorite people on this entire planet.

Though very much part of the lo-fi techno movement of recent years, Florian Kupfer’s past includes six years as a soprano choir boy. As such it is no surprise there is a real sense of enchanting grace to his work, which most often comes on LIES, but also on Russian Torrent Versions and Wille Burns’ W.T. Records. Whether mechanical and menacing or sombre and heartbreaking, his grainy grooves always manage to cast a spell on the dance floor. 

The mix he serves up here makes scant use of drums, especially early on where lingering piano solos, looming ambience and foreboding acoustic guitars add up to something incredibly powerful despite being so sparse. Grinding drums and malfunctioning synths eventually take over and work to soundtrack a desolate industrial space where all traces of humanity have long gone. It’s bleak but beautiful, much like everything to which Kupfer puts his name.
