Another party from 2012. This one was a mere month before the mammoth PCM2 rave so I don't really know what we were thinking doing something so close to that and with some pretty tricky bookings to pull off in the process, but a certain Mike Parker was over from the states in Europe playing so naturally we had to do it.

Along for the ride on the night was Donato Dozzy and both he & Mike played 3hr sets after a Arpanet live set if memory serves.

Mike Parker plays techno like nobody else. Mike Parker makes techno like nobody else. He is (imo) a seriously underrated artist both with music and on paper - I'm lucky to own a huge print of his akin to his screen printed 12" covers he did/does on his Geophone releases. The man is just super talented full stop.

This is a really special set marred only by the fact that about 50 mins is sadly missing after a Zoom recorder failure. Irrespective of that it's still well worth a listen!

Another birthday and another 3 room mega rave at Corsica. This was the 2nd PBT party with our BleeD and Them cohorts and the line-up as per didn't disappoint.

Label boss of Semantica Records Enrique Mena headlined the BleeD room under his Svreca guise and laid down a 2.5hr masterclass of a techno set. 

We were lucky to have Enrique play in the Plex room 2 years previously so it was a pleasure to welcome him back to London again, this time playing in the 2nd room on the recently overhauled and upgraded Corsica Funktion One. 

It's a super trippy hypnotic workout taking in many tracks from his label and beyond. Enjoy.

Had to put another one up from this party as it's equally as good as the Stingray set but for obviously very different reasons.

I don't think Answer Code Request had played in London prior to this party but already had a residency at Berghain and a number of releases on Dettman's MDR and his own self entitled label as well as an excellent LP on Osgut Ton so was more than on the rise at this point.

It's another hypnotically driven techno set but really unique to what was being heard around the time, Patrick definitely had his own carefully curated sound and the Corsica crowd lapped it up during his headline set on the night.

The 58th edition of the vurt podcast features a fantastic 110 minute set from Philipp Kim, a DJ working in the underground Seoul scene.

Through a unique category created by his dual activities of both DJing and working as a sound engineer, Philipp Kim creates sets that expand on the sonic aesthetic that is one of the hallmarks of contemporary deep techno. He particularly excels at expressing an organic and lifelike sound through his selection of tracks that create ambiance through the resonance of percussive rhythms and that of contemporary rhythms, made up of smaller, finely expanded particles, as well as his excellent mixing of reversals within the set's flow to dramatize the dynamics of the dancefloor. As the director of vurt’s new party, 결 Gyeol, he is also constantly broadening his creative spectrum with techno as his guiding centerpiece, and is always on the lookout for high quality, talented artists.

In March 2014 we teamed up with London crew Oscillate Wildly and welcomed New York techno stalwarts The Bunker for a 2 room 3 crew collab affair.

It was an honour to welcome Sherard Ingram AKA DJ Stingray to this one and it completed a series we coined the "Drexciya effect' after previously having Ultradyne, Dopplereffekt & Arpanet play live at past parties. He did not disappoint.

Really digged this line-up at the time and it holds up well now 10 years later imo. Up until about an hour ago i thought we only had the main room audio for this party but it turns out we do indeed have room 2's as well which is great news as every set played on the night was great so I'm sure we'll see more sets put up from this one so stay tuned.

The summer Plex in 2011 saw us bring over Morphosis for a full hardware live set, a returning DJ Pete and a debut set from Holland's man of the moment, Delta Funktionen. Room 2 had a full-on Brackout special in memory of the sadly deceased Plex resident Ben Bracket.

With a number of superb releases already under his belt on Delsin Records and Ann Aimee, Niels brought the fire to the main room with a really deep trippy set which went through the gears very nicely over 2 hours.

Next up we have Neel, co-founder of the excellent Spazio Disponibile label (along with Donato) and 1 half of the superb Voices From The Lake (also with Donato). 
Rome has always had a tendency to output really decent techno over the decades and these guys are very much at the forefront of it at this time.

Casper who runs BleeD was a really important ally when doing these 3 room parties over the years and always brought super interesting off-kilter artists to the line-ups at each one he curated, this one was no different.

Super tripped out techno. Another driving fave of mine for sure.

Pretty much the 14th anniversary today or thereabouts of the Sandwell District party so let's have a listen to NYC native David Sumner AKA Function do his thing for an hour. Super deep techno from the man on this one.

Was a great main room billing at this party (as was room 2 tbh) with Forward Strategy Group along for the ride as well as TVO doing his hybrid/live thing [Archive #22], will hopefully get that FSG one out eventually too to complete the room.

I'm going to take the foot off the gas a little and stagger these releases going forward (guess I was making up for lost time after a year hiatus in sticking these out) but there will be more coming so don't worry.

Pillen is a Spanish DJ based in Madrid, an enthusiastic vinyl collector, mixing since 2012.
He enjoys playing vinyl records for extended sets and his sonic range is wide; he can move effortlessly between techno, breakbeat, acid house, electronica, and d&b. 
He also has a strong affinity for hypnotic sounds while maintaining the energy on the dance floor. 
He is one of the co-founders of two establishments: 
Sables Mouvants, which opened in 2021 in response to the desire of its patrons to enjoy long sets in Madrid; 
Espacio Perpendicular starting in 2023 as the ultimate haven for underground music and its community.

Erik Jabari is a DJ and producer, raised in Berlin and Wuppertal.

As a child, he was already surrounded by reggae, dubstep and early techno.
This paved his way to learning classical music theory and clarinet, but
finding more interest in jazz than classical music.

Inspired by the possibilities of making whole tracks with more than just
one instrument, he began producing hip hop and electronic dance music.
 
As an employee at Hard Wax, the Berlin record store institution, he has
continuously shaped his sound over the last few years.

His music is techno centered with influences from house, dubstep, UKG and
drum n bass. In his productions you can feel his appreciation of the
origins of electronic music, which helped him to find his own modern sound.

His DJ sets are techno-centered, driving and powerful, but also subtle and
elegant.
