I always find comfort in the darkness & wanted to take you on a journey of the beauty you can find in the depths of sound, life, & your mind. There is always a light in the darkness, there is comfort in discomfort. It has been a rough 2 years and I am struggling but I have so much love and support surrounding me I know I will get through it and come out a better person & I know you will too.

It set my husky heart aflame to close the night with @Party-Liberation-Front at Oogie Boogie's Torture Chamber Stage this spicy and naughty Christmas celebration! This month's very special MalMix will show you exactly how the East Coast Rocks!  

DJ/producer Illexxandra is a longtime staple of the Brooklyn underground and she’s known for killing it, whether it's an hour of bangers, or a five-hour journey into sound, and this mix is no exception!  

This typically ferocious and eclectic set had us jumping out of our seats shouting!  Prepare to move & shake.

llexxandra co-founded Tropic of Bass in Washington, DC and was a resident DJ for Vitamin B, New York's legendary & long-running breakbeat party.  

Recent releases include Hospital Records' compilation Med School Graduation, her Out The Shadows EP via Producer Dojo, The Lexicon EP with Mr Jennings, Black Marble Collective's RAVETOOLS compilation, and District 160's Breathe compliation. 

Back in the before times, when Festivals were a thing, her 2019 festival appearances included the Outlook Festival in Croatia, Boomtown in the UK, Camp Questionmark at Burning Man, and Tribal Gathering in Panama to name a few.  

We're very stoked to have her as fam and look forward to collaborating even more!
