Feeling Fly is his new release - and it gives us just what the title promises! Five super funky, super groovy tracks that makes us feel fly! 

Opening track 'Feeling Fly' is a fat funky based tune with a fine break beat drums and warm gospel like lyrics encasing the deal! As always wicked baselines and playful horns setting the mood! The second track 'Let the Spirit heal' keeps up the same funky atmosphere, this time with the contribution of a second set of gospel and soul style vocals! 

'So Damn Funky' is a wonderful mix of pure funk style beats, baseline and rhythms - groovy to the bone. 'Walking Together' is a classic funk bomb - energetic, deep soulful sax vibes and groovy beats! Last but not least 'Flashback (Louie's Kitchen)' wraps up the release with a splash of funk, just enough to start unwinding after this upbeat super downtempo groove trip! 

All in all, once again, Funky Destination takes us onto a musical fantasy under his unique signature style production, mighty & glorious funk!

With an arsenal of floor rocking singles and remixes since 2003, the Fort Knox Five have the midas touch for producing heavy hitting records. For their new album, they have pulled out all the stops to deliver a record that takes the critically acclaimed ‘Fort Knox Sound’ to the next level. 

On their latest release, the Fort Knox Five take things back to their roots and keep the vibe centered around the city they love, Washington DC. As the home of many pioneering artists like Marvin Gaye, Chuck Brown and Fugazi, the Fort Knox Five draw upon their city’s rich musical heritage of funk, soul, punk and hip-hop for their inspiration. Venturing deep into the heart of DC’s Jamaican Underground, the Fort Knox Five collaborate with Rootz and Zeebo from See-I, as well as the unrivaled, mic-specialist, Sleepy Wonder to deliver three of the album’s ragga fueled future classics, ‘Killa Sound Boy,’ ‘The Wonder Strikes Again’ and ‘Not Gonna Take It’. 

With Radio Free DC, the Fort Knox Five unleash their new campaign to shake the foundations of the establishment with 12 songs that inspire, incite and unite our generation to Funk 4 Peace!

X-Ray Ted continues to show why he is rising so fast, with each release building on his talent for delivering knockout grooves. This could quite possibly be his strongest release to date with Bombstrikes. 'Mirror Ballin' kicks things off on a disco groove with driving beats pushing the bass along seamlessly that cements this tracks place as dance floor gold. Next up, 'Get Into It' slows the pace down a little but still delivers just as much punch with funk hooks and clever vocal work. Rounding the pack off nicely is 'Never Gonna Let 'Em Say' with its breakbeats, guitar hooks and deep bass drops to ensure that the track hits where it is supposed to.

We love this EP and cannot wait to hear more from the Bristol based producer.
