Following on from last year’s debut single ‘Drunk’, Birmingham trio Paradise Circus are set to release their highly anticipated second track ‘Marry Me When I’m 40’, Due March 30th…. With the support of The team at  BBC Radio WM Introducing Marry Me when I`m 40 has received a play on the Huw Stephens show on Radio 1 

Currently working with producer Gavin Monaghan, who is notable for his work with The Editors and The Twang, amongst others, the band are fresh from the studio and are excited about hitting the UK with their new track and its youthful take on love, life and growing old.

The band’s undeniable talent is in creating gritty, soulful, emotive songs and ‘Marry Me When I’m 40’ is no exception. Delivering powerful vocals, memorable lyrics and one hell of a hook, the song is true to their unmistakable style and sound, and gaining Paradise Circus ever increasing popularity.

Introducing London based, Scots folk singer songwriters Chris Yendell and Dawn Coulshed, who together are Evering

Dawn and Chris first met on the Edinburgh music scene in 2013, but it wasn't until the following year that their paths crossed again, this time in London. The inheritance of an old piano sparked their first collaboration and the beginning of Evering.  
 
Chris has a raw yet uncompromisingly welcoming sound that showcases his strong vocals and full sounding acoustic guitar riffs. He has supported the likes of Two Door Cinema Club with a previous band and has a wide range of influences ranging from Ben Howard through to Led Zeppelin. Dawn trained as a classical pianist in Edinburgh before moving to London to pursue her career as a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Growing up around the traditional music of the Highlands, Dawn was also influenced by the music of Jeff Buckley and Elbow. Her graceful yet rich piano work and truly stunning vocals really stand up behind the sound that Evering have created.

Following on from the razor sharp thrills of their debut EP, The Moon Kids are set to release their new single ‘Strange Thoughts On Sunday’ on May 18th 2015.
 
With help from production legend Michael Brennan Jnr (Mogwai, Super Furry Animals, Snow Patrol) the single was recorded during the bands US tour with Primal Scream.  Whilst producing the single, the Scottish foursome have named Catfish and The Bottlemen and The La’s as their biggest influences, who have helped crafted the hazy, narcotic pop sound of Strange Thoughts On Sunday.
 
The Moon Kids have thus been part of a new generation of Scottish bands who are pushing the envelope, articulating a new wave of sound.
