Plugger, experimental composer and multimedia contemporary artist , a provocative art project that is trying to re-shape the concept of sampling.

Plugger is breaking in the scene with realeases on prestigiuos and supercool european label such as ThisAndThat Label with Davide Squillace, Test Card Recordings with Public Service Broadcasting and has being selected to join the BedRock Records Family for the "Live in South Beach 2015 Compilation" nothing less than Mr John Digweed. 

This super year 2015 follows the  indie debut “This is Not a Record”, a mixture of retro-avantgarde electronic music and powerful hypnotic groove, that has gained Plugger flattering reviews in Europe, like DJMAG UK “A thrilling unexpected ride (7,5/10)” or FAZE MAGAZINE “So original but also so much fun (8/10)”.
Plugger was also selected to perform at SONARD+, the most avanguardistic branch of SONAR FESTIVAL in 2014 and has performed for MTV BRAND NEW as well as contemporary art museums and clubs. 

“I met PLUGGER two years ago in Ibiza and was amazed by the power and psycheledia of the music, as well as the impressive multimedial liveshow” says Squillace, “and decided I was going to extend the provocation PLUGGER is bringing in music into the dancefloor”.

Plugger as a concept is the process of overseeing a band/artist’s entire back catalogue, extracting parts and pieces from existing records and reshaping them into an entirely fresh original composition : no other external sound is added or allowed…otherwise it’s not a PLUG!
The artwork for all of the project is again a composite of recycled album covers amd orginal video footage, cleverly sticking with the format and offering again something striking and unique.

“We did one track together.I had so much fun doing a PLUG from the BEACH BOYS and the result is impressive” remarks Squillace “ Upon listening to the PLUG dedicated to Ennio Morricone, the visionary soundtrack producer said ‘Plugger is the new thing that will shake rock’ and I say ‘Plugger is the new thing that will shake clubbing!”
