BIO

Sirocco are an upbeat indie/ alternative band from Newcastle who’ve been together since 2019. 

They released their debut album ‘A Day In The Life’ in early 2020. Their range of influences throughout the band really show in their music, with a mix of pop punk, indie and Britpop styles making their music unique and enjoyable.

Sirocco are:
 
Lewis Armstrong – Lead Vocals/Guitar
Josh Thurlow – Guitar/Backing Vocals
Aaron Tait – Drums
Will Turner - Bass
 
With their catchy indie melodies, distinct vocals and a mixture of equal parts blues-rock and alternative-rock, Sirocco have developed a distinct and eclectic sound that is utterly compelling.
 
With their influences ranging from ‘70s punk right through to ‘90s indie-rock, this is a band not afraid to draw upon their inspirations to create a sound that is familiar yet completely their own.
 
The band have been able to collate together their individual influences to create a sound that is not only catchy and punchy but is mature, well-developed and uncompromising.
