The Last Time

"Skins" is a mellow electronica track that I produced during fall of 2021. 

At the time, I had finished recovering from an intense leg strain that left me immobile for nearly all of the summer, and was returning to the balance of school, work, and music career. I wanted to communicate the positive feeling of recovery with a warmer sound than "You", a slower counterpart to "Skins" I released earlier this year.

Inspired by, and sampling from, the enigmatic number stations that are dotted around the world, relaying strings of numbers – probably for intelligence agencies. I sampled the number station known as E06 ("The Englishman"). Hopefully this doesn't accidentally trigger nuclear war, but honest, who knows with the way the world is at the moment!
