Message: Millennial dating is TRASH.

"With the underlying theme of 2000s acknowledgement throughout the project, it was also important for me to play on themes that a lot of millennial R&B music highlighted: love & all of its qualms. This song is meant to be a cute nod to the cesspool of dating that many of my Millennial counterparts have to deal with today. Birthed from the comment section of a Facebook post prompt, I wanted to make something that sounded every bit of dreamy 2000s pop/R&B that touched upon the specific gripes that millennial women have with dating; specifically, the half in-half out partners who love bomb & ward off the formal act of commitment. It’s doused in every bit of teenage dream, Word Up posters in my locker, singing in my mirror vibes, & an homage to the relentless & unnecessary trials with seeking companionship."
