Interstice

Soft Departure is a piece born from the need to preserve the inner fire in an environment where relational and professional dynamics tend to wear it down. It explores the gesture of quiet withdrawal, not dramatic, not reactive, simply the choice to stop investing where energy no longer flows. Built around a warm, enveloping bass played on my Crave, the track acts as a guiding thread through a soundscape that can be unstable at times. It evokes the act of staying present without being pulled in. A form of inner persistence in a noisy world. This is a work of conscious disengagement, a way of saying: “I’m still here, but I’m no longer playing the game.”  Soft Departure is also a tribute to those who choose to leave without noise, to step away without war, and to keep alive what doesn’t need to shout.

Music is a movement.

In an increasingly divided and intolerant world, it is good to remind ourselves that a lot of the noise is caused by distortion. Distortion that serves the few at the expense of the many.

Diverse groups of people come together all the time as collectives, sharing experiences harmoniously, supporting each other peacefully, and spreading positivity. In clubs, at venues, at concerts.

This new LP has a message despite the lack of words on it: reject extreme ideas grounded in dystopia and embrace self-evident truth.

Music is a movement that doesn't care who you are or where you're from and that's where my head's at.
