The album represents a strong friendship between the artists and their common passion for music. It's uniqueness lies in the number of artists involved in it; 6 artists for 11 tracks with an active blend of creativity. A fusion between melodic House, with an Indie touch and ethnic percussions. The album allows each artist to fully express themselves, whilst keeping to a common middle ground throughout the songs.

Black Coffee, Blondish, Da Mike and Pablo Fierro, are just a few of the incredible artists to have shown their support by playing our tracks.

Calamar Records is based in Hong Kong, a city that echoes with our lifestyle, music, and urban environment. Those are the main reasons why we chose this city to develop this label. We want to convey our creativity through places we love.

Stockholm based DJ & producer Sebjak cues up another juicy collaboration with fellow Swede, Fahlberg. Following recent club hits on MoBlack Records and Bibliotheque Records, the dynamic duo drop one serious summer anthem contender for Blond:ish’s ABRACADABRA imprint, with the single ‘Somebody’.

Already a staple in Blond:ish’s DJ sets, and picking up serious heat with the dancers, this breezy and heady house track builds steadily, setting the groove perfectly with galloping percussion before teasing in its main vocal hook, blasting this happy happy track into the stratosphere!

“The track was actually made over one and a half years ago, with no real intention to release it at first, we just loved the vocals and the concept around it. But after sending it out to some DJ friends and artists, Viv picked up on it, and when she started to play it, we noticed how many people were asking about it. The hype around the track began to live its own life and started to grow organically, and the amount of requests for this song became so many that we had to finally release it!”

Already being hammered in recent Blond:ish’s DJ sets, SirYLL’s ‘Malawi’ gets an official release on Abracadabra.  Debuted on her BBC Radio 1 broadcast from IMS in Ibiza, ‘Malawi’ breezes in, riding on meditative vocals, deep piano chords and earthy percussion for a real sunset/sunrise kinda moment!

After having started his career over a decade ago, SirYLL has been a regular fixture on the club circuit in his native France. In 2020, SirYLL was appointed resident DJ at Shellona St-Tropez continues to woo crowds in St Barth at Casa and Shellona.
