Profile:
DJ and producer. One of Chicago's true heroes and cited by many as a pioneer the city's sound with one of his earliest releases Essence Of A Dream being regarded a classic. 

At the age of 12 he was already moving in the right circles, befriending Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy whilst frequenting the famous Warehouse. His upbringing in Chicago in the 70s and 80s meant that he was exposed to a range of genres and different styles of music including Stevie Wonder, Prince, Curtis Mayfield and David Huff. These same names would prove to be the roots of his influences. 

A tally of successful hit records, remixing and collaborations resulted in his talents being sought by artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Derrick May, Angel Abi, Paul Johnson and Mr Lee. He has also worked with Larry Heard & Robert Owens, Dave Angel, Tjen Tjen, Felix Da Housecat and Will Smith.

Nacido en el Distrito Federal y radicando en Celaya, DJ JCKN ha mantenido ese sonido underground el cual lo caracteriza y por lo que lo han hecho parte de Selectivo DJ Celaya.

Desde hace algunos años empezó a incursionar en un sonido móvil mismo que lo llevo a relacionarse con gente para que pudiera empaparse y lograra tener mejor técnica y gusto musical. A pesar de haberse alejado algún tiempo nunca perdió ese amor por la música.

Después de varios años de haberse alejado de las tornamesas, regresa para participar en un evento de Selectivo DJ's Celaya a partir de ahí lo invitan a formar parte de su Booking de DJ's.

Colectivos como Huum Koi Music y House Salad, Selecta Music, Papi House, Warriors of House, Little Routine (Francia), Pupa Sessions, han transmitido sus podcasts teniendo gran aceptación dentro del ambiente underground. último.

Actualmente además de ser parte de Selectivo DJ's Celaya, es un ingrediente del Colectivo House Salad.
