We invited two New-York City DJs, travelling in Berlin for the summer, bringing in their suitacases high energy tunes and overseas flavours.

Sicilian roots, her passion for marranzano and hip hop led her to an obsession with deep, broken, obscure and fast sounds.

Andriy Kostyukov aka @andriy_k is a Kyiv-born and Berlin-based producer and dj. Andriy skillfully combines experimental club music and listening live performances. His exclusive works could be heard at many leading events in Europe. Some of the key festivals were he showcased his spectre of sound - ICKPA Berlin (DE), Kontext (DE), Bukolica (CZ), Seismic (CZ), ODS (UA), Voyage Culturel (UA), Na Chasi (UA), Brudnyy Pes (UA), Nearbyrave (CZ), Rehole (CZ).

In 2024 Andriy joined the Shape + artist roster, while he is working on the upcoming audio-visual release, that is dedicated to the ecological catastrophe in Ukraine.

@genus-aix is all about subtle textures, experimental sound design and multilayered rhythms. As a producer, he debuted on @indexrecords with his 5-track-EP "Heavy Metal, Solid State" in 2023 and appeared on labels like @charmlink and @second-end-rec. With his crew @pppppoems, Genus Aix finds himself in a curating position for forward-thinking events in Berlin.

Elobbaby (@elena-callegari-889359029) , multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Venice, brings experimentation into his research across the various genres of electronic music, mostly taking inspiration from the electronic music of the 90s, merging with the organic and multi-genre sounds of the current generation and various rhythms more hypnotic, deep, atmospheric and emotional sounds.

ILAY (@ilayruni), an 18-year-old sound artist behind the alias ILAYRUNI, works at the crossroads of electronic music and percussive instruments. Merging these two worlds, he explores the possibility of rhythm and sound.

Growing up in a family that had a strong bond with the electronic music scene, ILAY had access to a wide range of styles and sounds, giving him the chance to wander and discover all types of frequencies and feelings.
Traveling through a wide range of styles during his sets and productions, he seeks highly percussive rhythmic patterns that merge with synthesizers and give place to deep soundscapes.

Seta Loto is an Italian producer and DJ based in Berlin, crafting immersive blends of bass, bass-techno, and hypnotic techno. His releases on @comicsansrec , @delajelespere , and @generalmerchant explore deep, textural soundscapes—where precision meets raw energy. As a DJ, he builds evolving narratives, guiding listeners through rising tension, unexpected turns, and atmospheric depth. His sets and productions have taken him across Europe, with appearances on Rinse France, Radio Flouka, and Fritto FM.

ata'ru - Synthetic Tales - 03/04/25

Leopold Gebhard alias daisytwo is Bavarian born producer, DJ and Sound Designer based in Berlin Charlottenburg who navigates the tension between raw energy and introspective depth. 
His sonic world is built on fragmented rhythms, textural immersion, and the hypnotic pull of dystopian soundscapes where echoes of sci-fi IDM, ethereal Ambient, and bass-heavy DnB collide. Beneath the weight of sub frequencies and glitch-infused percussion, his roots in Hip-Hop and Trap still linger, shaping his sense of groove and dynamics.

Each of his productions and DJ sets unfolds like a lucid dream, shifting between moments of fragile beauty and controlled chaos. Metallic, deconstructed beats dissolve into cavernous atmospheres, while ghostly pads and warped melodies stretch time, creating the feeling of being suspended between realities.

As one half of the dissolved duo Battery Flex (with DJ Traytex), he explored the outer edges of experimental club music, pushing percussive abstraction and immersive sound design into uncharted territory.

As co-founder, artist manager, and booker at Symposia Berlin, he curates forward thinking club experiences around the globe, recently in Burkina Faso. Symposia creates spaces where movement becomes meditation and intensity transforms into transcendence bridging music, art, and performance to reshape the boundaries of club culture.

Obso - Synthetic Tales - 01/05/25

Ultrademon, real name Lilium Redwine, is an experimental musician and researcher exploring the intersections of electronic music, archaeo-acoustics, and prehistoric archaeology. Active for over two decades, she first emerged in the early 2010s on Aphex Twin's Rephlex Records. Her work spans exhibitions, performances, and collaborative projects, often drawing on her background in archaeology and engaging with themes of the underworld. In recent years, she has moved beyond emotionally driven dance music, incorporating black metal vocals, waves of distortion, and atmospheric, narrative-driven textures into her albums and performances.

@laura-conant is one half of MONTAGE, a label and event series from Brussels. The producer and DJ is known for various mixes and radioshows, exploring different styles and musical scenes. Her sets focus on a broad range of genres, always with a hint of experimental sounds. Influenced by everything between ambient, breaks and experimental music, she provides both ecstatic as introspective moments in her mixes.

The Magician is a collaborative prose and ambient piece composed by A. Calin Ion and authored by Sonia Chien. The two sent samples of compositions and writings back and forth over text message, culminating into the final work.  Calin's composition recontextualizes anonymous field recordings of public spaces, abstracting their familiar textures into uncanny, intimate soundscapes. Sonia's prose explores a month of experiences with a stream-of-consciousness approach, skipping between small moments of purpose, aimlessness and all that lies between.

"Fatale Furylax is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Paris. A graphic designer, DJ, co-coordinator of Station Station Radio, and member of the collective and label De la…je l’espère, she crafts a sound rooted in contrast and alchemy. Her music is an eclectic tapestry—ambient drifting into bass, where dubstep pulses, breakbeats, drum & bass, and experimental echoes bloom into dark, organic landscapes.

In her music curation, she pays particular attention to highlighting minority artists, notably through her bimonthly show More FLINTA* in USB keys on Station Station Radio, and through her compilation Delphæ, released on the label of her collective.

A resident of Radio Sofa, she invites listeners on A Good Trip in My Mind—a sonic journey through the quiet, the strange, and the beautifully unclubbed corners of music."

softiletta is a Berlin-based creature with Italian roots and a deep interest for the human experience, both at the individual level and in connection to others. Although her academic background in psychology and neuroscience gave her the tools to explore the technical aspects of it, she still feels suffocated by the rigid schemes dictated by DSM-5 criteria and MRI scanners. Through the exploration of movement practices and spoken word, she is moving her first steps to finding a more sustainable way for her to research human connections.

Currently the executive producer of co:clear & co-founder alongside Slowfoam of a new label Gravity Pleasure, slyn has been playing in cities such as Berlin, London & Amsterdam.

In 2015, Débora Vilchez created Morfvoz—a fusion of “morphology” and “voice”—to explore her voice as a harmonic instrument. Blending vocal experimentation with Peruvian rhythms, she breaks away from traditional structures. She performed with Sabrina Schray and played drums in Perigon (2012–2024). As Morfvoz, she directed music for Johanna at Staatstheater Stuttgart and later composed for several of Manja Kuhn’s theater productions. In 2023, she created and performed the score for Kassandra at Stadtbühne Frankfurt.

flusterbrew3 is a spoken word poet who previously performed original pieces live at the Synthetic Tales for CTM Vorspiel 2024. But for this prerecorded Synthetic Tales, they taped a reading of part of a poem by Kristina Lugn, with each stanza echoed by Klara's own English translation. They then gave it to ismilianis to add music, noise, and texture.

ismilianis is a sound artist who's been followed by death for the past year. the mountains called, they found a goblin in a gathering of witches and it told them about the waves of life.
