Trance

In Focus with us is Portuguese artist Psilocybe Project who burst into the scene with debut album 'Brave New World', titled after Aldous Huxley's cult-prophetic novel, followed by the messages of his next album 'We Are All Creators' and lastly in 2018 'Inside Your Brain', has been has been busy creating in his studio for the past two years, pouring our psy music that knows no subgenre limitations. In this edition we can listen to a mix where he's showcasing some of his recent productions in a journey through three vibes – Psilocybe Project, when sun invites you to play.

Loud have steadily sent massive psychedelic waves washing through the global trance scene, and with their new album "No More X", the Israeli duo of Eitan Reiter and Kobi Toledano are pushing boundaries once more. 
 
After a string of successful releases on Nano Records in 2011, Loud's new album makes way for a fresh sound, a more mature approach that demonstrates a move towards a deeper more listener friendly sound. A brave move in a world of cookie cutter PsyTrance, but one that is sure to pay off and win fans across all

Looking through my old DAT's, I found this forgotten gem… This was made in Januray 1999. It's a remix of Atmos' classic Klein Aber Doctor done by myself and George Barker, released as Slinky Wizard vs. Green Nuns Remix….BUT this version was done after we had put down our final mix…. Simon popped round for a cuppa and did a live mix on the mixing desk. In the "olden days" before making everything inside a computer people would make their sequenced mix then put everything on a loop and make a live mix on the analogue mixing desk twisting the FX and EQ's, playing the desk like an instrument……this was a trick learnt from the days of Youth's Butterfly Studios….. Simon P., Ott and Greg Hunter were masters of this.Then you could edit it down into a few minutes. So this is Simon's live mix of our remix….its about 19 minutes long and very psychedelic! Enjoy!

Plusquam Records originally started out as a progressive sidelabel for one of the biggest labels in psytrance history, Spirit Zone which was founded by mastermind Antaro. 
in 2003 Plusquam Records became an independant label and formed its own way to the progressive trance scene with legendary releases by Haldolium, Auricular, Bitmonx &amp; DJ Fabio, Buzzmonx, Shaman and Cafu. Within short time Plusquam Records turned out as an open secret for tasty and quality progressive trance.
In September 2008 Plusquam Records founded a new branch of its business namely Plusquam Division. Plusquam Division goes alongside with Plusquam Records in its structure and fine behaviour for selceting tracks and releases but within a totally different genre and represents Plusquam's new way into Progressive house, minimal, more technoish sounds and electro music styles.
