The grotesque grow ever fat
Feasting on our flesh
Their names golden inscribed
Upon their knife and fork

Crawling along the road
A line of slaves 
Rattle golden chains
Each toils to build

The grotesque they hoard our fat
Fighting over the sweetest meat
We can’t escape their futile wars 
While chained to their feet

Oh Blind Plutus
In your name 
We walk the path

This old town 
has started to rot
This Festering hatred
has gone septic

I used to have a friend
but he won't speak to me
Stares at his feet
while his buddies 
They all     spit on me 

Their waving flags
and severing heads
my rear view mirror 
is full of hangmen

I used to have girl 
to keep more safe and worm
but last night I found her 
swinging from a tree

This old town 
is coming apart at the seams
and it seems this old town
has had its fill of me
