With a vast array of instrumental landscapes & guest contributions from Guilty Simpson, Miles Bonny, Coma-Chi (Japan), Notes To Self BBRC and MoMO (IAMMMXO). ‘Deep Above The Noise’ is a heavy hitting affair from start to finish, this is just the start of the next chapter of the Plutonic Lab story.

BIO
Australian music producer, artist & performer Leigh Ryan (aka Plutonic Lab) is an ARIA Nominee (as one half of Muph and Plutonic) and a UK Mercury Prize Winner, for his work with Speech Debelle. He is also currently the international tour drummer for Hilltop Hoods.

Plutonic Lab’s eclectic music production has provided the backdrop for a vast number of artists with over 80 releases locally and Internationally on several record labels including work with, G-Love (US), Coma-Chi (Japan) Renee Geyer, Dialectrix, Drapht, Hilltop Hoods, Wiley (UK), Speech Debelle (UK), Fat Lip (Pharcyde), Eternia (Canada), Omni (US), Eligh & The Grouch (US) amongst many, many more.

The second issue of Fieldnotes is based on Nicole and Leigh's travels around one of their favourite countries - Japan.
Including field recordings and images from Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Fukui Prefecture coast, Mt Fuji and places in between.

The music  produced by Plutonic Lab (Leigh), is partly sourced from location field recordings and features Japanese rapper Dag Force on the track "From The Sky".  Fieldnotes soundtrack is pressed onto the included 7" vinyl record and slipped into the back cover of the book along with a card with a download code.

Fieldnotes is generously sponsored in part by Olympus Imaging, as all the images are photographed on Nicole's much loved Olympus OM-D E-M1 and OM-D E-M1 Markii.
