Árni is a Berlin-based DJ, curator, and founder of the Iceland-born label NIX – a platform dedicated to showcasing raw, forward-thinking club music that bridges emerging talent and seasoned producers. With a sharp ear for unconventional textures and hypnotic rhythms, Árni’s sound navigates between deep, driving techno and percussive experimentalism, always with a strong sense of narrative and movement.

Árni is a Berlin-based DJ / producer, and the head of NIX record label. 

Originally hailing from Reykjavik, he has been a stepping stone in the Icelandic electronic music scene for over a decade. Known for his seamless sets, Árni mixes with ability and versatility to move between different styles.

Árni started the label NIX, a label that stands out in the techno scene, catching the attention of some of the genre's biggest names. NIX is home to a diverse range of artists, and Árni's carefully curated releases have gained worldwide recognition, namely finding a home at Hardwax. 

Despite his music and label owner career, he doesn't take himself too seriously and believes in embracing the fun in everything he does. Whether behind the decks or helping out other artists, Árni brings a forward-thinking attitude to dance music without ever losing his down-to-earth approach.
