For the third release on his own imprint, DTR, VII Circle launches the new split series by teaming up with THAM, on a full split EP. 

Following the latest EPs 2020’s ‘Fearless EP’,  2021’s Warriors which saw the support from artists likes Perc, Paula Temple, Headless Horsemann and Regal just to name a few, VII Circle is back with two impactful tracks which are establishing once again his uncompromising sound and exposure to the dark post-punk and heavy music influences he got. 

On the other side of the vinyl, THAM shows his genuine and real interpretations of how complex grooves, pounding bass drums and aggressive synths are driving his sound. 

With this release, the duo wants to rise a new musical vision and musical compactness that has distinguished them in recent years, making them find their true personal sound.

ALKHEMY’s The Black Hole turns three years-old, and to celebrate, the Brooklyn-based collective has called upon some of the mightiest in the galaxy to create this dance floor-ready compilation. The 27 artists featured on this VA were invited to participate by combining their signature production styles with a Black Hole-inspired twist, to showcase a range of the world’s raviest sounds. Over a third of the participating artists have headlined The Black Hole for their US debut or NY debut, including, Scan 7, Plural (Kukri), Keepsakes, D. Carbone, 138, Axel Picodot and WarinD. Each providing a nostalgic glimpse into their respective journeys through Brooklyn’s favorite galactic rave. The remaining artists have brought forth their own unique sounds, creating an undeniably powerful collection of tracks that will leave a lasting mark on 2019.

The compilation is just as diverse as the dance floors at The Black Hole and as well as the lineups assembled by ALKHEMY. Proudly bringing artists from the US, South America and Europe together. Another example of the power that lays behind unity.

The cover art, which was inspired by the iconic flyers of The Black Hole, who are always put together by Danny Garber, was designed by Detroit legend, Alan Oldham aka DJ T-1000. Being that ALKHEMY’s mission is to highlight diversity in techno, Alan carried on the tradition of The Black Hole’s flyers where people of color and women are showcased in a powerful manner. Keeping the mastering mainly in-house, 80% of the tracks were mastered by ALKHEMY’s Buzzi.

he.IV Came across our radar in early 2019 when a demo fell on our lap.

It was the dark black honest sounds of Techno as we hadn't heard it before. it was hel.IV. After his debut EP 'The Dagger & The Thought'. It took over the internet & blew up. It had immediate respect & has been getting hammered all around the globe. We finally have him back to some damage again. His new 'The Palm On The Altar' EP displays a more fine tuned hel.IV while still attacking the throats. It's dark. It's imposing, and it's serious business. We also have the talented Dahlia on board to remix the title track. An amazing eight minute journey to tell his version.
