The album "Sylmar" by acclaimed electronic music producer PNFA (Wolfram Gruß) is a massive longplayer with over 124 min running time and 15 excellent tracks somewhere between trip-hop, idm, house and techno as well as influences from epic cinematic soundtracks. 
„Sylmar“ feels like a trip around the world with an increasing pace and rising tension the further you listen. While the majority of the deep and intelligent titles like „Roots“, „Along The Way“ or the title track „Sylmar“ are certainly brain food, towards the end the album gets more and more danceable. 
Through the use of many organic, classical instruments in mostly electronic tracks, „Sylmar“ is once more a genre bender of incredible quality.

Seven Succulents is a continuation of my 2009 release Six Silicates. Where Six Silicates was a nod to crystals, Seven Succulents explores the weird and wonderful world of desert plants. The music thrives and grows from a single seed, winding its roots delicately through sand, communicating through beacons of sound sent across vast arid landscapes. The songs are named after plants I have tended and cared for over the years, and the collection exists as an homage to the wonders of nature; a love note for quiet desert foliage. 

Seven Succulents features additional musicians Mike Greenfield (of LOTUS) on drums, Samuel Wexler on violin, Timmayo Sheehan on flute, Lynne Watts on vocals, and “The We’re Home Family Drum Brigade" crammed in my living room making a whole lot of noise.

"Sci-Fi Lullabies is my homage and love affair to intelligent and thought provoking science fiction and genre literature.  I tried to capture a sense of place in each track and make each one feel as if it was it's own world in an alternate universe.  I dove deep into the modular and analog synths to get a real high fidelity otherworldly sense of sound design and interest".

Bluetech returns to his roots with an album of delicate and intricate downtempo music.  Realized with a collection of analog synths and modular explorations, Sci-Fi lullabies hearkens back to the early Bluetech albums like Prima Materia and Elementary Particles with its hyper detailed and evolving production acumen.

Wolfram Gruss produces mostly electronic music for the club since 1994, which gained already international acclaim and were published on labels all around the globe, for example on Ministry of Sound and Sony Music. With "Swimming Pool", Spoq releases a new mind bending cinematic album. This work manages to combine warm, intimate, introverted acoustic instruments and melodies, with analogue basses, glitches, fat beats and sometimes even disharmonic, aggressive sounds. This is not at home in one genre, but rather draws chill hop, trip hop and ambient vibes just to juxtapose them with cinematic IDM and sometimes even Synth Wave and Drum'n'Bass elements. Spoq's very specific sound is very present in this album. It can maybe be described as shattering a symphonic orchestra together with vinyl crates and a bunch of broken synths, only to search for the most fragile shards and most solid pieces at the same time to puzzle together something completely new.

Even though it is an instrumental album, the themes behind "Swimming Pool" have a great emotional depth. Writer and producer Wolfram Gruss describes it as a very personal meditative musical reflection on what it means to be human: "A public swimming pool is a sort of microcosm, where for a short time we become the same. We jump in the water to swim, cool off, play, exercise or recreate. It does not matter where you come from, how you have gotten there, what your story is, what you own...everyone is just keeping their heads above the water. At the same time we become vulnerable as our bodies are exposed, the flaws and scars we rather keep covered up might show, our worries, problems and pains are waiting for us as soon as we leave the water. This is exactly the ambivalence I wanted to express with the title track. It is slow, relaxing, almost corny at times, but at the same time probably the saddest and heaviest piece of music I've ever created."
Whether you follow this thought process or not, "Swimming Pool" is definitely an album for connaisseurs looking for unusual and uniquely deep electronic music.
