Les amarres cèdent, et le navire s’arrache au port comme un rêve quitte le sommeil. L’équipage, silhouette après silhouette, grimpe à bord, les yeux brûlants d’ivresse maritime. Rires nerveux, cliquetis des cordages, grondement sourd du moteur. On part sans se retourner, happés par la promesse d’un ailleurs. Rien ne semble pouvoir déranger la perfection du départ.

01:50 → 03:00 – Chapitre II : L’Étrange Silence des Flots
Le voyage prend des airs d’extase flottante. Les corps dansent sur le bois chaud du pont, les bouteilles tintent, les voix s’élèvent jusqu’aux étoiles. Mais dans la démesure de la fête, une absence se creuse. Aucun navire croisé, aucun signal capté. L’océan devient trop lisse, trop vaste, trop vide. Une inquiétude diffuse, comme une ombre sur une photographie, s’insinue dans les regards.

03:00 → 05:00 – Chapitre III : La Chute
La mer se soulève comme un monstre ancien qu’on aurait réveillé. Le ciel éclate, la pluie lacère. Le navire gémit, puis se disloque, avalé par une nuit liquide. Le hurlement du vent noie les cris. On ne lutte plus, on chute. L’eau devient cercueil. Tout s’efface.

05:00 → 06:28 – Chapitre IV : Le Ventre de l’Île
Les yeux s’ouvrent, perdu sur une île qui ne devrait pas exister. Luxuriance malsaine, chaleur moite, silence organique. Les arbres semblent écouter, les pierres observer. Le sable colle comme une peau étrangère. Nous ne sommes que deux, naufragés sur une terre vivante, et elle ne veut pas de nous.

06:28 → 07:36 – Chapitre V : L’Instinct des Bêtes
Elles arrivent au crépuscule. Masses informes, trop rapides, trop silencieuses. Elles ne chassent pas pour se nourrir : elles traquent, elles jouent. Nous courons, haletants, la peur hurlant dans nos tempes. Chaque seconde est un miracle arraché aux griffes. La survie devient un rituel primitif, une danse de l’agonie.

07:36 → 08:46 – Chapitre VI : Extinction
Ils nous ont eus. Pas de cris, pas de sang : juste cette lente agonie, cette dissolution du soi. Le corps s’éteint par fragments. La volonté s’effrite. On ne sent plus le temps passer. Nos cœurs battent de moins en moins fort, comme deux tambours qu’on aurait oubliés dans une salle vide. Puis plus rien ne résonne
