The essence and reality of life's struggles and changes have created a much wiser and bolder female MC. Letting go of her dreams to be a basketball star, the Bronx native has readjusted her dreams. Her main focus is to be one of the best females to pick up a mic, she is quickly moving into a league of her own. 

She not only has the talent to perform and create great music, but is filled with a head full of intelligence. She obtained her bachelor's degree in business
   
management from Morgan State University. With the brilliance of business on her side, she is ready to take the music game by storm.


Lessons of life have allowed her to change her mind set on who she wants to be as a musician. After releasing a few mix tapes, creating videos, performing at events and gaining a name in the business; she is not yet content. Even though she has not found her exact niche, she believes strongly in her talent and knows her music will be the ray of hope for those walking her same path. 

Poca consistently conveys her passion for hip-hop through her lyrical life stories. With songs like "Misunderstood", "Don't Judge me", and "The Come Up", she believes that millions of women can relate to her messages and hopes her fans are given insight into where Poca has been and where she is headed.
