Norwegian born Ruben Næss has been busy manufacturing a steady library of 100% authentic Jackin/Chicago style House since 2010 and hasn't looked back since. Keeping true to his love of the classic sounds of House he’s made it his goal to style a sound that's modern and forward thinking whilst retaining the soul and vibe of the traditional roots of the House sound he knows and loves.

Ruben has worked with many labels across his career, some of them includes Juiced Music, Mood Funk Records, Turtle Wax Recordings, Greenhouse Recordings, Jack Locker Recordings, Soulsupplement Records, Layers Label, Frosted Recordings, Cruise Music, plus many more.

Ruben Naess is also owner of the mighty Pocket Jacks Trax record label, founded around 8 years ago by him and Daniel Hellwege, both also produce music under the alias Funky Trunkers. Their label is focused on Deep, Funky, Jackin', Tech House and anything in between. The label works with artists across the globe and releases only the finest of the funky underground sound.
