Man, thanks for your passion. I am lucky and thankful for your work cause there is a magic spirit in the most of your mixes. The music today is produced in other ways - that’s OK - but the length and the mix arts in most DJs sets on big Events is on my feelings to stay at home or even to not watch a video from a live-set from any big DJ. So man, guys like you are the now homebase for me. Thanks.

In honour of and especially mixed for the most passionate group of trance festival goers I’ve ever witnessed I threw together a compilation of rare and classic Goldenscan tracks, remixes and productions.

There are some classics that people will know, some unreleased productions that we still like despite never giving them any air, as well as some remixes that for various reasons we were proud of at the time. 

Goldenscan actually only released 4 tracks, all gaining some popularity at the time - 14-18 years ago EEEK!!! - We were proud to have a pretty high shit filter which served us well critically but also meant we weren’t as prolific as we could have been. After all these years however, having listened to a load of our stuff for the first time in years, there are some good production moments that perhaps we should have finished/polished/released.

A lot of this stuff isn’t perfect but i think it captures a time in Trance when things were a bit more experimental, a bit more ‘anything goes’. Or maybe that’s just my opinion.

Anyway for what it’s worth, here it is, warts and all. Enjoy, don’t, like some, like one, or none... just don’t troll me 🤣

Oh and all mixed on a plane on an iPad with vodka fingers so excuse some of the mixes 🤪🤪.
