Danmark skal minimum spille 13 landskampe i 2021. Forhåbentlig flere. Den kommende uge skal der spilles tre kampe, som indleder VM-kvalifikationen frem mod den forkætrede slutrunde i Qatar næste år.
Det hele skyldes de indgreb, som corona-restriktionerne har medført for fodbolden, så EM-slutrunden 2020 først afvikles i år, mens VM-kvalifikationen er klemt ind i et ekstremt presset fodboldår.

Det forløb indledes torsdag aften i Israel, hvor Kasper Hjulmands mandskab indleder vejen til den VM-slutrunde i Qatar næste år, som får stadigt mere negativt fokus.
I alt spiller Danmark tre kampe i marts i VM-kvalifikationen, inden fokus rettes mod EM og kampene især i København i juni. Til efteråret ligger der så hele otte kampe i VM-kvalifikationen. I denne udsendelse kigger vi især de sportslige perspektiver på A-landsholdet og hvordan Danmark er stillet med aktive topspillere, der får spilletid på hold som:  FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Tottenham, Chelsea, Inter, Leicester, Dortmund, Atalanta, Valencia og Leipzig. 

Panelet består af fodboldtræner Rasmus Monnerup og fodboldspiller Jonas Hebo Rasmussen.
Vi kigger blandt andet på:
- Hvor mange spillere har Monnerup og Hebo som sikre startere i Kasper Hjulmands idealopstilling?
- Hvor er de største spørgsmålstegn?
- Hvor er der udfordringer?
- Og hvor er konkurrencen hårdest?

Danmark møder Israel, der er nummer 87 på FIFAs verdensrangliste, inden man søndag møder Moldova (nr. 177) hjemme for så at spille forårets umiddelbare nøglekamp mod Østrig (nr. 23 i verden) næste onsdag.
