toxic conversations after all moves come to stagnation,
we’re playing chess and it’s a stalemate,
made me choke on silence as a fail safe,
this conversation wasn’t supposed to happen from the start,
but hey, maybe i’m bored and need inspiration for my art,
maybe im pretending that my world isn’t ending,
i can’t rebuild it cause i wont ignore you,
i know you’re toxic but i adore you,
so i’ll check in shamelessly just to explore the options,
cause its so often we find ourselves in this position,
lost in the intermission,
you told me something dark so now im lost in transition,
feeling crazy and winded,
cause a mental contradiction between my heart and my mind,
self respect and the time, we spent wasting both our lives,
