We are blessed to present Cagliari’s own, Carlo Whale and his spectacular release ‘Leitmotiv’ on Poesie Musik. The young Italian producer has seen his blissful blend of ecstatic ambience and driving house gain serious interest from hungry fans. Now he drops his first Poesie single, and shows once again his talent for capturing the moment. The title track flutters and sways in golden rays of harmony while a beautifully crafted melody repeats its gentle tune. Beneath this, a deep and driving percussive that doesn’t overstep its bounds. The B-side here is ‘Achernar’, a shaper piece with more bounce, drive and tension, landing somewhere closer to main-time club territory with strong afterhour potential. The synths remain dreamy and alluring, yet the bass digs deeper.
