Prosper Rek was born in London, raised in Amsterdam and spent all his vacations on Ibiza since he was ten. Over the years he has sculpted his very own flavor of house music that just won’t take no for an answer. His relentless style grabs you with deep, melodic, rhythm driven tracks and doesn't let go until the wee hours of the morning.

Prosper has been a resident DJ at the legendary Blue Marlin Ibiza for six years and the Dutch people might know him best as one of the residents of the infamous Pleinvrees parties.

'Ripple' marks his Manual Music debut after recent releases on the Armada Deep label, and includes two warm and melodic dance floor pleasers.

PREMIERE: Ryan Dupree - Cognition (Modeplex Remix) [Enchant Audio]

2019 gets off to a massive start at Manual Music, as the Dutch label welcomes back Rauschhaus to the label after his earlier shared EP with PHCK- and his remix for label head Paul Hazendonk which were both released in 2017.

The German producer doesn't fly solo this time, as he has teamed up with talented Ecuadorian producer V-Cious who you might know from his earlier releases on labels such as Parquet Recordings and KDB. 

And that's not all, because on the EP's title track 'Boy' the duo worked with Australian vocalist Haptic who's discography is quite an impressive one, as he has collaborated with artists such as Several Definitions, Riesen, Third Son, Simon Doty, Daryn Vlys, AFFKT, Audio Junkies, Marc DePulse and many others!

The beautiful, moody and mysterious 'Boy' comes in the original mix and a remix by Germany's rising star Renga Weh (3000 Grad Records / Lauter Unfug), whilst the more than worthy "b-side" track titled 'People Under The Stars' gets remixed by Argentinian progressive house maestro Antrim.

All in all it's clear that Manual Music continues the new year where they've ended the previous one; pushing quality underground electronic music, as they have done so since 2005.

Stunning debut from Holland's finest Jaap Ligthart with "Adventures In Aberdeen' which also sees a debut on remix duties from Pedro Mercado & Karada and after many years a welcome return of progressive heavyweight Lonya.

Jaap's original mix is a fantastic combo of percussive deep grooves, intense chord progressions and gentle, warm synth lines that play along well and create an almost balearic feel to the whole track.

Lonya turns out another monster remix with his trademark fusion of progressive and melodic techno. Punchy beats and crisp percussive elements roll along with ease along the deep and pulsating bassline as the hypnotic synths build up and create a unique vibe along with the cleverly used elements from the original track. 

The last but not least rework comes from Pedro Mercado & Karada and it is a belter! A potent, evolving bassline drives it all along with the spaced out pads and  deep beats while tripped out effects keep building up the vibe through the whole track.
