Last Chance Disaster

Coffee shops and cigarettes 
Ramen noodles. How could I forget 
Napping down at the laundry mat. 
Speeding down the dirt roads past 
a hurricane of silent memories.

Staying out 'til 3 AM 
Forgetting every place we've ever been. 
Skipping class and ditching work 
Running from everyone with a smirk 
Shouting "just forget me!"

(Shouting...)

It's a last chance disaster 
Dream again with a whirlwind in my brain 
Speed it up. Won't go any faster. 
Scream again and bury all your pain.

No direction in this life 
A thousand philosophies of strife 
Hide the pain inside your cup 
Drink it down, time to give up. 
Don't you dare give them your glory.
