Danny tells the story of 'Thinking Of The Day 2023', one of three tracks on the new Heart & Mind EP:

"In 2010 I posted a few tracks on SoundCloud that I made while at university in the late 1990s.

"Despite the lo-fi sound quality they piqued the interest of a few internet radio DJs, and somehow found their way to the ears of UK Garage legend Karl ‘Tuff Enuff’ Brown.

"I hadn’t made anything since uni, but spurred by the interest from Karl I acquired the tools to make a new tune and got to work.

"The result was ‘Thinking Of The Day’. I really liked it, and it got some great feedback on SoundCloud, but being my first attempt it wasn’t up to scratch and never got released.

"Some 13 years later, I started ‘thinking of the day’ I made the track and decided to revisit it. So here is the upgraded 2023 version, accompanied by new track ‘In My Heart’ and previously unreleased 'Every Day and Night'."
