Personally I like the original way more. This is a good remix but still needs work to become as good as the original. The absence of mid-ranged sounds is clear here and the jarring and very pointy bassline separates it very effective from the whole rest of the song making it very dominant element of the song. Original had a whooping and rolling bassline to it, this has way more jarring, pointy and jerky bassline. Of course the original had a bit more harshness to its bassline but it was smoothed and softened out very well with the tiny reverb added to it making it roll nicely and even if the bassline in the original too is dominant, it isn't as separate element as in this remix but rather it supports the whole song and creates a solid foundation for the rest of the song to rest on. :)

I'm getting a massive 70's vibe from this part.
