DIM - Cinthie Remix

Parisian artist Point G is set to deliver a new remix compilation across three parts this March, April and May 2019, featuring interpretations from an array of esteemed producers close to him.
DJ Gregory aka Point G has long been a respected figure in house music, releasing music and DJing since the 90’s under various guises, Point G being the more contemporary alias with a focus on a rawer, more stripped- back aesthetic. Here we see the Point G back- catalogue revisited with fresh reworks from some of France’s finest in House and Techno, as well as good friend and Berlin’s queen of House, Beste Modus co-founder Cinthie.
Across the project there’s the vintage sounds of DJ Steaw and Cinthie’s drum-led remixes through to more crunchy, synth-driven takes from D’Julz and Leo Pol sat alongside the airy ethereal, jazz-tinged feels of Hugo LX and Flabaire’s remixes.
Pauline T takes a more direct Techno approach with her take on ‘Blackjack’ via mind being arpeggios and choppy, ever-evolgin drums, DJ Deep opts for a similarly dynamic feel with his solo rework, while the Sergie Rezza remix, an alias of his and Roman Poncet’s, delves into the more abstract courtesy of smoothly unfolding, organic drums, enchanting atmospherics and wandering subs.

Point G ‘Remixed By’ features an all-star cast and every remix choice has payed justice to many of the choice cuts from the Point G back catalogue.
