Premiere: Cristoph x ADZ - The Edge ft. Luke Coulson

Netherlands-based producers Estiva and Lake Avalon are set to impress with their first collaborative single, 'Future Memories,' set for release on Joris Voorn's Spectrum imprint on August 9th.

Estiva, renowned for his chart-topping hit 'Via Infinita' and a sold-out North American tour in early 2024, brings his signature melodic touch and infectious energy to the collaboration. With a discography that includes releases on Colorize and Anjunabeats, Estiva has solidified his place as one to watch in '24.

Joining him is Colombian producer Lake Avalon, best known for his innovative releases on Still vor Talent. His unique sound, characterized by deep, atmospheric elements, perfectly complements Estiva's uplifting melodies, creating a harmonious blend that is both refreshing and captivating.

'Future Memories' is a title that hints at the promising journey ahead for this dynamic pair. The track features a rolling bassline and an uplifting, positive melody that perfectly embodies the essence of a Spectrum release.

Revisiting a selection of label releases, Purified Records presents the Remixes II compilation. Inviting French producer Aalson to put his own spin on Colombian producer Deviu’s ‘Snow’ Ft. Mira Nait, his remix enters a heavier dimension while maintaining the original’s vocals and progressive atmosphere. Moving into German producer TH;EN’s remix of ‘The Night’ by HEREON x Adam Sellouk x Braev x Like Mike, this powerful rendition builds a steady soundscape around the impactful vocals. Revisiting Nightlapse’s ‘Weightless’, Swiss producer Dan Sushi infuses trance and progressive elements to achieve a rave-ready version of the label anthem.

The Remixes II artwork displays coral and surrounding reef fish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Small reef fish play a crucial role in maintaining the health of coral ecosystems by controlling algae growth, which can otherwise smother corals. Their feeding habits promote coral regeneration and biodiversity, ensuring the resilience of these delicate marine habitats. These little fish also serve as a vital food source for larger predators, supporting the broader oceanic food web.
