The quartet from France are a steady fixture in the world of modern digging. Colin, Guillaume, Romain and Xavier originally met in Marseille but are now all based in Paris where they very successfully continue their hunt for the unknown (seldom above the 110 BPM mark). 

The now-Parisian taste-makers do not only have one of the most excellently curated Youtube Channels out there, they recently also proved that they are very capable Editors themselves on the most recent (and excellently curated) Orange Tree Edits (Vol. 8). 

For 5918mins., they provide nothing short of a masterclass of modern digging - which left us astonished and (dare we say it) even a bit envious given the sheer endless amount of unknown treasures comprised in this mix. Electronic music began to take shape for SAFI when he arrived in Paris, where we first met during an event at La Péniche Cinéma. A passionate listener and dedicated collector, his musical identity has been shaped over the years by three core influences : deep house, breaks, and dub. Early inspirations came from acid jazz and improvised jam sessions, building a foundation rooted in emotion and layered rhythms. His approach is guided by a continuous search for complexity and slower tempos.

This set explores the concept of patterns—slow, repetitive, yet constantly evolving. It offers a fluid journey that prioritizes depth and continuity over rigid genre boundaries. From warm textures to intricate percussion, each track contributes to a broader sonic narrative.
