ReSolute presents the next installation of our podcast series, recorded by Berlin's own Barbara Preisinger. Barbara has made many appearances with ReSolute over the years, and has established herself as a dedicated taste maker through her 12inch vinyl label SLICES OF LIFE. which has been active since 2009. It is a podcast mixed last january on demand for a soundcloud profile, which seems to be very popular with underground electronic music experts. After researching part of my music archive (from 92 to 98), I assembled this mix, but it was rejected because, according to the artistic director of the page, it was probably not easily appreciated by the audience following that profile.
I therefore decided to offer it on my soundcloud profile, precisely because 'every opinion is a world of its own'.

From his first few releases on the influential Interactive Test label and as Major Hypnotic Key Institute, Miki was a key figure in shaping the early techno landscape. It's testament to his staying power that he's been able to remain cutting edge for so long, with many of his records getting a new lease of life when picked up by the usual suspects.

This mix checks in at almost three hours and is a consummate display of the man's talents; the sheer breadth of his record collection and the skilful manner it's woven together in all befitting of a 30+ year veteran.
