Poisoner is a young metal band from Slagelse, Denmark, who with their high level of energy and intensity makes the listener eager to mosh down nearby drywalls until there is nothing left but powder! On stage, they deliver an energetic, euphonious smack in the face to the audience, while they lean out over the stage with the passion dripping down upon the front row. ‘’Disobey’’ is the name of their debut EP, which lays the foundation for their musical expression with a solid round of neck-breaking, ear-piercing music. Henceforth, Poisoner will have a creative angle according to how their music should sound while simultaneously keeping some of their primary influences from the 80s thrash metal scene. Lyrically, Poisoner primarily deals with themes such as life, death, nature, emotions, philosophy, society, major world issues, humans, the human race and personal emotional struggles and experiences. 

The band started out in 2011 as a solo-project by Lauritz Andersen, where most of the songs from the EP were already in the progress of being written. In summer 2012, drummer Emil Deleuran Poulsen joined the band, and finally in 2014 the line-up became complete when guitarist David Bjørndam and bassist Lasse Sølling Madsen joined in.
