Fine Records is the collaborative product of Johannnes Albert (for Frank Music fame) and klamauk's Tilman. While the first release saw the producers joining forces, the second drop was a solo release from Tilman. For the third EP, Dancefloors & You & You, it is the Berlin-based Johannes' turn at the helm, and it is our pleasure to present to you the first cut off the record.

Johannes is no stranger to employing looped discofunk samples in his productions, and "All Around" certainly fits this mold.  The track builds on a heavy disco style kick / clap and layered percussion and a funky bassline. As the lead, an irresistible postdisco era sample repeats and rises to a filtered climax. The female lead vocals of the original are slightly teased in here a la Tiger & Woods before dropping back into the main groove. It's a sweet, feel good disco house track that's certain to motivate dancefloors.

For its 225th release Freerange welcomes this exciting Austrian producer who goes by the name Demuja, you already know him if you follow closely LYO. His "Mary Janes Theory" record caused something of a stir when it came out at the start of the year on his fledgling vinyl-only label Muja. Taking his inspiration from classic deep house but with a rough and raw approach, Demuja sit proudly alongside the likes of Ross From Friends, Mall Grab or Rimbaudian riding the new wave of fresh, contemporary house.
On his Freerange debut, the Move EP offers up four original tracks, each with their own distinct flavour. Opening the release we have title track "Move" spring into action with simple Rhodes chords floating across a crisp, driving up-tempo groove showing off the deeper side to Demuja. Next up "B.o.o.m" offers us a simple yet captivating, dancefloor-focused affair with a lone, repeating piano stab hooking us into the action. Flipping over we have "Into My Brain" which brings some acid-tinged Italo vibes and a jacking beat to proceedings whilst the closing track "Turn Me On" cuts up a much-loved Paradise Garage classic for a warm, soul-infused slice of classic, bumpy house music.

As of late, France has been a hotbed for up-and-coming house and disco labels, releasing some of the grooviest tunes pumped out on dance floors across the globe. Newly minted Groovence is no exception to this, bringing forth their their first label release with a various artists compilation that will leave your head buzzing, heart melting and feet stomping. VA releases can be hit or miss but « The Cosmic Groove EP' lives up to its name with funky, spaced out cuts that will have you calling Houston and assuring them that there is no problem.

Based out of Paris, the vinyl-only label has been releasing an 'invite' series of hour long sets to showcase their tastes, with guests as Luvless ( Rose Records, Sleazy Beats recordings), Ethyène ( Moonrise Hill Material, Kolour LTD), Tour Maubourg (Pont-Neuf Records) and Twice Movement (Groovence) ; each sporting their own quality tracks on the label premiere.
